Jan 1985 - Sept 1997 : Entomologist, CIRAD - PRIFAS. Working on locusts and grasshoppers biology, ecology and control strategies. Including working in Brazil with EMBRAPA - CPATSA (1985-1986, Petrolina, PE) and with EMBRAPA – Monitoramento por satelite (NMA) (1992-1993, Campinas, SP).

 

Mar 1975 - dec 1984 : Entomologist,  GERDAT - Groupement d'étude et de recherche pour le développement de l'agronomie tropicale - PRIFAS. Working on locusts and grasshoppers biology, ecology and control strategies. Including 1975-1977 in Burkina Faso in a French Project on sahelian grasshoppers, and many field trips in Cape Verde archipelago from 1981 to 1984.

 

Jan 1969 - Fev 1975 : Entomologist,  Ministère français de la coopération. Working in Madagascar on Migratory Locust ecology, including 1971-73 in a UN FAO/PNUD project.

 

Numerous training and teaching activities in France and abroad, from technicians to  graduate and post-graduate students.
