Mar 1975 - dec 1984 : Entomologist, GERDAT - Groupement d'étude et de recherche pour le développement de l'agronomie tropicale - PRIFAS. Working on locusts and grasshoppers biology, ecology and control strategies. Including 1975-1977 in Burkina Faso in a French Project on sahelian grasshoppers, and many field trips in Cape Verde archipelago from 1981 to 1984.
